About the property

304 Callecita sits at the top of Callecita Place, on the hill above Fort Marcy off Bishops Lodge Road, close enough to walk down into downtown Santa Fe and high enough to keep the whole western sky. The house

The view is the western sky. On this hill that means the sunset, in full, every evening, over the Jemez horizon.

The neighborhood

Callecita Place runs up off Bishops Lodge Road just north of Fort Marcy, on the near edge of the Northside. It is one of the pockets where Santa Fe changes character quickly: a few minutes down the hill is the Plaza and the whole downtown grid, and a few minutes up it the lots widen and the piñon takes over. The schools are Carlos Gilbert Elementary, Capshaw Middle, and Santa Fe High.
