Christopher Webster’s work has always moved between disciplines. Real estate, fine art, fashion, design, publishing, and the cultural life of Santa Fe. At Webster Santa Fe, those interests come together as a single practice centered on place, how we find it, shape it, collect within it, and make a life there.

Real estate has been part of Christopher’s world since before he was born. The Webster family has been buying, selling, developing, and advising on property in Santa Fe for generations, and he has been a licensed broker for more than two decades. Through Webster Estates at Sotheby’s International Realty, he works with clients on significant homes and properties throughout Santa Fe, bringing to that process a perspective informed not only by the market, but by architecture, design, and a deep familiarity with the city itself.

That wider point of view has shaped the rest of his work. He is a founder of W Department, the family’s fashion and design boutique, and Webster Collection, its fine art program. He is also the co-publisher of Leading Estates of the World and founder and publisher of The Grand Gesture, a magazine devoted to fashion, art, culture, and ways of living.

His projects have extended well beyond Santa Fe. In 2007, he was a producer of the Broadway musical Xanadu, which received four Tony Award nominations. Over the years, he has been involved in businesses and investments spanning media, technology, consumer products, and the built environment.

What connects these pursuits is an interest in discernment. Recognizing what is exceptional, understanding why it matters and helping other people see possibilities they may not have seen themselves.
