Biography
Cloudface is a Diné and Hopi multidisciplinary artist, painter, DJ, dancer, and educator. Raised in a family of artists and immersed in hip-hop culture, he has become an influential voice in the contemporary Indigenous art movement. His work spans painting, performance, sound, and collaboration. In Carrier Wave, Cloudface joins Randy L. Barton in a dialogue about abstraction, rhythm, and cultural continuity. The gallery becomes an active studio, where live music and painting underscore the idea that culture is not preserved. It is lived.
